ADULTS – Short Daytime Courses
– Introduction to Ballet
Weekend Beginners Ballet Course
Mini course over 2 Sunday mornings- £14.00 – PREPAID
Sunday 16th and 23rd February 2020 10.00am – 11.30am
A great opportunity to find out what all the fuss is about. Whether you want to find out what your children are learning in their ballet classes or you’ve always fancied having a go but are too daunted to join an established class this is the perfect solution.
This is a slow introduction to ballet technique. Great for absolute beginners and returners who want to take it steady. It will include barre work (holding on to a ballet barre for stability) and I will talk about posture, ballet language and break down of basic steps and movements. Comfortable clothes that give you freedom of movement like gym/yoga/Pilates wear are advised. Socks must be worn for those without ballet shoes. The class is at Ferring Village Hall in the Club Room and doors will open at 9.50am. There is free parking available in the small car park outside the hall. This is a friendly and supportive environment.
PRICE: £14.00 per course
OCCASIONAL SATURDAY MORNING CLASSES – MAIN HALL – £7.00 pre paid class
22nd February 2020
I occasionally put on a Saturday morning class when I am not teaching the children’s classes. I hold these in the largest room at Ferring Village Hall so that we can really spread out and use the whole room to dance. They are a fun class and suit improvers/intermediate and advanced abilities.
